The dyed silk is then coated with river mud containing rich minerals and iron compounds, which help to fix the color and provide additional softness. After this, the silk is spread out in the sun for drying and oxidization, a crucial step that enhances its signature glossy finish and unique aroma. The final result is a fabric known for its distinctive softness, lustrous sheen, and breathable comfort.
